The Football League Paper - - WOMEN'S FOOTBALL WEEKLY -

ON THE wall of our changing room we have ‘Eight cup finals left, seven cup finals left’. We tick the games off as we go. It keeps you focused.

Last year in WSL 2 we got ahead of ourselves too much. It’s a good league because it’s competitive, as is WSL 1, and that’s what you want for the fans.

Before the start of the season it was difficult to predict who would win each league. It seems in both leagues four or five teams could come away with the championship. Of course, we hope it’s us.

But it’s so tight. I’m addicted to twitter when our rivals are playing. Constantly refreshing to see what’s happening.

Last season it was the same with Sunderland when it wasn’t in our hands. This season, at this moment, it is in our hands. We need to make sure that’s the way it stays.
