HENLY’S IPSWICH CHANCE
SCOTLAND U21 goalkeeper Jonny Henly believes he is in the perfect place to improve at Ipswich Town.
The 21-year-old was released by Reading in the summer and spent time with QPR and Ross County before joining the Tractor Boys.
“Mick (McCarthy, manager) and his coaching staff are very much about giving young players like me the chance to shine, which is evident during training sessions as there are no barriers between the U21s and the first team,” he said.
“Joining Ipswich is definitely the right move, and I look forward to working with the staff over the course of the season to help take my game to the next level.”
