MUSEUM IN PLEA FOR KITS
IF YOU’VE got some old, unwanted football kit, then the National Football Museum could be the perfect home for it.
Last year, the Manchesterbased museum put a call out for shirts, but this time they are asking for boots, shorts and scarves too.
The kits will form part of a colourful display in the museum before being sent to international charity KitAid, who will share the kits across 40 countries.
Museum director Kevin Moore said: “Last year’s shirt amnesty was a fantastic success bringing in nearly 600 shirts. We are sure we can build on this by asking people to donate their old and neglected football kits.”
The Kit Amnesty will run until Monday, August 31.
