City girls are handed World Cup All-Star accolade
MANCHESTER City trio Karen Bardsley, Lucy Bronze and Steph Houghton have been named in a World Cup All-Star squad by Fifa’s Technical Study Group.
England finished third in Canada, beating Germany in a play-off to end the tournament on a high, and are represented by three players in the All-Star squad of 23.
Since returning home City have won all seven matches they have played, while Bardsley has signed a new two-year contract.
