The Czech Republic star, 23, only joined the Hor nets permanently this summer from Italian side Udinese on a five-year contract, with the fee betw ee n Watford and Udinese – both owned b y the P ozzo famil y – undisclosed.
Vydra had spent tw o loan spells at Vicarage Road, including last term when he hit 16 goals in the club’s promotion-winning campaign.
But he had to w ait until Tuesday’s 1-0 Capital One Cup defeat at Preston to make his first start of the season and his inactivity has alerted clubs who know his track record in the second tier.
Any QPR mo ve for Vydra is likely to be de pendent on the big-money sale of Charlie Austin. Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Hull are also k een on loan moves for the forward.
