LEY­TON ORI­ENT are tar­get­ing the Premier League af­ter the O’s re­launched their women’s team.

KIKK United has been re­branded to be­come part of the Lon­don club, and the new side are play­ing in the third tier in the Lon­don and South-East Re­gional League Premier Di­vi­sion.

Their cam­paign got off to a good start last Sun­day as they beat Ful­ham 1-0.

Man­ager Chris Bray­ford said:“We have a great history as KIKK United, but this is a fan­tas­tic step for­ward.We are all very keen to be a part of the Ori­ent fam­ily and we are ex­tremely grate­ful to Ley­ton Ori­ent football club and the Com­mu­nity Trust.

“We want to re­cip­ro­cate that sup­port by achiev­ing pro­mo­tion.”
