The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE ONE -

THIS week’s BT Sport WSL review show comes from today’s big WSL1 game between Chelsea and Notts County.

With Manchester City playing Sunderland as well, it’s an important day in the title race. Arsenal can’t be ruled out but it looks like it’s heading towards a three-way tussle between Sunderland, Man City and Chelsea – and Emma Hayes’ Blues are in the driving seat.

Chelsea threw it away on the final day of last season so they’ve got those memories that should help them get over the line.

They’ve got a great set-up and some top players and I always thought they’d get their hands on some silverware this season.

They did just that by winning the FA Cup. I have to say, I thought doing the double was a bit much to ask this season but they could be about to prove me wrong.

Of course, Notts County will be looking for a little bit of revenge for their FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea.

They’ve lost pace at the top and have gone off form since the league returned after the World Cup. But they’re definitely capable of beating anybody.

As everyone knows, they’ve got five Lionesses in their side and they’ve got real quality.

In the reverse fixture Gemma Davison scored both goals in a 2-1 win for Chelsea so they’ve got the edge over the Lady Pies this season and they’ll be favourites.

. HOPE: Chelsea’s Gemma Davison will be a candidate for an England call up
