BOLTON’S French defender Prince Desire Gouano is glad to have a full wardrobe again.

When the 21-year-old initially arrived at Bolton this summer for talks, he had expected to be heading back to France while the deal was finalised. So he didn’t bring many clothes and was surprised by the speed the deal was completed.

He said: “Yes, I had no clothes. My manager said ‘Prince, we’re going to England from France’ and so I only needed to take clothes for two days.

“I didn’t think everything would go so quickly. I had nothing.

“After one day I was on the pitch. I came to Bolton and trained then played in a game. It is good I now have some clothes!”

Desire-Gouano, who has initially moved on loan from Atalanta, added: “I love the fans. When I play I feel that love and that is why I like to play for Bolton. They are a big club.”
