BOATENG BUOYED BY ARGYLE’S FAN ARMY
HIRAM Boateng has been impressed by Plymouth’s travelling support since he arrived on loan from Crystal Palace in July.
Palace have a famously noisy following and Boateng admits life at Argyle is similar after settling in as a first-team regular at the club.
And the 19-year-old is hoping to see that level of support continue throughout the campaign.
“Wherever we go it seems like we have got a good following,” said Boateng.“That plays a very important part in our performances.
“When you have that 12th man supporting you, pushing you on at the end of games it does definitely help.We need that throughout the season.”
The powerful midfielder has also been impressed by his new team-mates, after Argyle’s bright start to the season saw them come into the weekend third in League Two.
“I feel as though everyone has brought something to the table, even the lads that have come off the bench have affected games at times,” he said.
