RYAN FRASER was named Football League Young Player of the Month – and straight away set his sight on even more awards!

Winger Fraser is currently on loan at Ipswich Town from Bournemouth and was in eye-catching form during the opening month, scoring three goals in six appearances for the club as the Tractor Boys started strongly.

Since making the switch to Suffolk, Fraser has repaid Mick McCarthy’s faith with some excellent displays on the left wing including a debut goal against Brentford on the opening day.

Fraser said: “It feels really good. It’s obviously an honour to get it and with the start the team and I have had, I’m really keen to get some more now.

“Hopefully I can keep up my performances and just push on from here.”

Presenting the award to Fraser, Ipswich manager McCarthy said: “He fully deserves it.

“He’s an infectious character on and off the pitch, he loves taking defenders on and he has a goal in him. He’s just a really talented footballer.”
