WILSON TO WOLVES IS A NO GO

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP -

MANCHESTER United striker James Wilson is not heading to Molineux, according to Wolves boss Kenny Jackett.

With Nouha Dicko out for the season with a serious knee injury, Wolves are in the market for a new front-man.

But Jackett has ruled out signing the England Under21 forward on loan.

“The information is he’s not available,” said Jackett. “They’re keeping him there for the time being.

“There have been a number of clubs who have enquired about him and at one stage they had been saying perhaps he could go.

“The timing of it is always something and if he was available would there be some interest from us? There has been in the past, yes.

“You are always looking to strengthen, you’re always aware of centre forwards.

“But, having said that, both Rajiv van la Parra and young Bright Enobakhare have looked very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to give them an opportunity in the team.”

Jackett was also quick to rule out a move for former England international Fraizer Campbell from Palace.

He added: “I don’t know where that’s come from. It’s not one we’ve pursued or we’re pursuing.”
