SHRIMPER MULLIN IS SPOT-ON
PAUL Mullin insists he is Morecambe’s man from 12 yards after he proved practice really does make perfect when it comes to penalty kicks.
The 20-year-old has been working with Shrimpers keeper Barry Roche in training and it looks to have paid dividends if his 93rd-minute spot-kick against Newport is anything to go by.
“Last year when we were getting penalties I always put my name forward to take them,” said the striker. “People were in front of me then but now I’ve got the job.
“It’s a free shot at goal. I’ve been working on them with Baz in training and thankfully it’s worked. Hopefully I can keep scoring them.”
