WES Thomas says he’s alive and kick­ing at Swin­don Town af­ter putting a frus­trat­ing sea­son with Birm­ing­ham City be­hind him.

The striker is on loan from the Blues and has al­ready proven he can make an im­pact at Swin­don.

The 28-year-old scored on de­but in a vic­tory over Crewe, and he in­sists he’s happy play­ing as a poacher rather than play­maker.

“I’m en­joy­ing the style of football be­ing played here,” Thomas said. “I’m not re­ally in­volved in a lot of the build up, but once it gets into cer­tain ar­eas I come alive.”
