STRIKER’S GOT THE ABEL-ITY

MOHAMED Diame is backing striker Abel Hernandez to fire Hull City back up at the first time of asking.

Hernandez, 25, joined Hull for £10million in 2014 before netting just four goals in 26 games last season.

But he already has three this time around and Diame is not expecting the Uruguay international to slow down.

“Abel has started the season with a lot of confidence,” he said.

“It was difficult for him last season. As you know, he’s not from this country and he doesn’t speak English very well at the moment.

“At training, you can see how he came back after the summer. He’s ready to fight for this year.”
