FORTHRIGHT midfielder Alan McCormack has pulled no punches assessing Brentford’s early-season form.

The Bees, last year’s surprise package in the Championship, are in the bottom five with eight points from ten matches and Marinus Dijkhuizen has been replaced in the dugout by Lee Carsley.

And though McCormack says the morale in the dressing room is good, everything else is unacceptable.

“To go from where we were last season to where we are this season is not acceptable or good enough from anyone,” he said.

“The position that we are in at the moment is spurring everybody on.”
