APPOINTING DAVID WAS A DUNN DEAL!
OLDHAM Athletic chairman Simon Corney admits it was an easy decision to appoint David Dunn as permanent manager.
The former Blackburn Rovers midfielder, 35, only joined the Latics as a player in July, but took over as caretaker boss last month following the departure of Darren Kelly. The Latics came into this weekend’s clash with Scunthorpe United on a run of four successive draws under Dunn.
“The way he has approached the role has made it impossible for us not to give him his chance,” Corney said. “We believe his ambition, skills and positive influence will be pivotal to the club’s progression.”
