REID UPSTAGES WASTEFUL STANLEY
IT might not have been convincing, but Reuben Reid’s fourth goal in as many games saw League Two leaders Plymouth home in the end.
His second half goal was the difference as he pinged home a fierce halfvolley into the top corner after Graham Carey’s free kick from the left wing was not cleared.
Stanley controlled the first half, creating plenty of chances and forcing Luke McCormick into several impressive saves.
Indeed, McCormick was the difference between the two sides and if Stanley had taken their chances, they would have left with the spoils.
Coleman has not held back in his assessment of his charges and they do look like promotion candidates, but they will need to find a cutting edge in front of goal to fulfil those lofty ambitions.
