POP IN FOR A DRINK BIEBER!
JUSTIN Bieber fever may have gripped Southend United this week, but Ryan Leonard insists his new celebrity status will not affect his game.
The midfielder became a global star overnight after the American popstar tweeted in response to Leonard’s unique celebration following his goal against Sheffield United earlier this month.
“It’s gone a bit mad to be honest,” he said.
“All the boys are excited and we want him to come down for a drink with us in Essex.
“It’s a nice stor y for the club and me and has given us some exposure.”
And the 23-year-old has got something special planned to celebrate his next goal.
“We have something lined up for the next goal!” he said. “I’m not sure whether Adam Barrett will join in with it but I’m not saying any more about it. Only certain players know the plan.”
