SOLLY ON THE MARCH IN DESERVED WIN
BRIGHTON’S relentless early season March continues – thanks to a youngster named Solly and veteran striker Bobby Zamora.
The two players at opposing ends of their careers got the goals to send Chris Hughton’s unbeaten Seagulls soring back to the top of the table.
England under-21 starlet March produced a stunning solo performance, topped off by his first half goal, to take the man of the match honours – only four years after turning out for nonleague Lewes.
But it needed Zamora’s predatory instincts to plunder a winner Brighton fully deserved early in the second half.
Brighton are now 19 games unbeaten going back to last season and boss Hughton even had the luxury of bringing Manchester United loanee James Wilson off the bench in the second half.
The signings of Wilson and Wolves winger Rajiv van La Parra have added extra depth to a squad already brimming with confidence.
