LEEDS ARE THE CLUB FOR LIAM
NEW Leeds United midfielder Liam Bridcutt has revealed he rejected an offer from another club at the last moment before completing his switch to Elland Road.
The 26-year-old had not featured at all for parent club Sunderland this season and joins on a month’s loan.
Bridcutt said: “I was close to going somewhere else. I had a few other options because this fell through at one stage.
“Then I get a phone call late on Wednesday from the manager, saying he’s been given permission to speak to me.
“He convinced me that Leeds were the club for me and I was happy to get it done.”
