BIG PLANS THERE FOR COVENTRY
IT’S ALL about the future for manager Tony Mowbray who says he wants to lay down the foundations for success at Coventry City.
The Sky Blues have had a solid start to the season and came into 2016 in fourth place in League One after finishing 17th last term – avoiding relegation with a final-day win at Crawley.
This season has seen a different side altogether with some standout performances from the likes of on-loan youngster Adam Armstrong cementing their position in the promotion race.
And, while Mowbray has been with the club for less than a year, he already has big plans for the future.
“What I want in 2016 is to keep improving and growing the football club,” he said.
“To give the supporters players they can call their own and put it in a stronger place for the people of Coventry.”
