DECEMBER might not have been particularly kind in the league to Exeter City but Ollie Watkins thinks if his side stick to their attacking guns then things will start to look up in 2016.

The Grecians ended the year with a 2-0 defeat at home to AFC Wimbledon after a 3-0 Boxing Day loss to Oxford United.

However, even with a host of first-team players out of action,Watkins thinks Exeter have the tools and spirit to turn things around.

“We have got the players and most managers, when they don’t have enough players, will play safe, but we kept playing attacking football and it will work for us soon,” said the 20-year-old.
