CLARETS NEED CONSISTENCY

The Football League Paper - - CHAMPIONSHIP -

IPSWICH Town will leave Turf Moor the happier of the two teams following this goalless draw.

The home side edged the game in terms of possession and although they failed to test Dean Gerken, Sean Dyche will be disappointed they couldn’t create more opportunities.

Both sides are still in a good position to finish at least in the play-offs, although Burnley’s inconsistency will worry Dyche – this was definitely a case of two points dropped rather than a point won.

Ipswich are seven games unbeaten on their travels and look well set for a good run to kick off 2016.
