TALENTED keeper Adam Smith maintains he is not concerned by interest from elsewhere – just continuing his fine form for Northampton Town.

The 23-year-old has been in sparkling form since signing from Leicester City in June, prompting a number of Championship clubs to sit up and take notice.

But Smith insists he aims to keep his feet on the ground and help lead the Cobblers’ promotion push.

“It’s my job to keep the ball out for Northampton Town and that’s what I plan on doing,” he said.

“If I’m doing well personally then, yes, I might attract interest but in the meantime I’ll just keeping my head down and carry on doing what I need to do.”
