SKY BLUES BAG VETS COLE, HUNT AND RAMAGE
THERE is no substitute for experience and that is certainly something Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray agrees with after snapping up Joe Cole, Stephen Hunt and Peter Ramage.
Midfielder Cole has played seven times for the Sky Blues during a loan spell from Aston Villa this term and Mowbray is convinced the 34-year-old joining permanently until the end of the season will benefit the whole club.
“He’s great to have around the dressing room and the rest of the squad feed off his experience,” said Mowbray.“I only see his performances for the club getting better and he is a fantastic option to have from now until the end of the season.”
Republic of Ireland midfielder Hunt, 34, has arrived as a free agent on a short-term contract. Ex-QPR defender Ramage, 32, has joined until the end of the campaign after a trial following a spell playing in India.
