JONES TO CUT DOWN HATTERS

-

NEW Luton Town boss Nathan Jones has revealed his intention to streamline the squad this month.

Jones replaced John Still at the helm last week and moved swiftly to agree loan extensions for Mark Onyemah and Zane Banton at Dartford and Hemel Hempstead respectively.

However, his next port of call looks set to be offloading those players he does not anticipate can take the club forward.

“The squad’s a big squad, for where we are,” he said.

“I prefer to work with a slightly smaller squad because it means I can affect a group of players quicker, so that’s the only thing really that we’ll be looking to do.”
