ACCRINGTON Stanley owner Andy Holt says a spate of postponements has cost the club six figures in lost matchday revenue.

The Lancashire club haven’t staged a home match since November 14.

“The lost fixtures have cost us. It will be six figures, north of £100,000,” said Holt.

“I’ve still had to pay the wages, and costs to the opposition for travel and accommodation, when games have been called off.

“In the two months I’ve been with the club, everything that could go wrong off the pitch has gone wrong. I feel like I’m a jinx.”

Holt has now invested in improved drainage at the Crown Ground.
