END OF THE WROE-D FOR NICKY AT NOTTS
EXPERIENCED midfielder Nicky Wroe has joined Non-League side FC Halifax Town until the end of the season, following his release by League Two Notts County.
The 30-year-old, who had been on loan at The Shay since mid-October, has been a key figure in Halifax’s rise out of the National League drop zone since ex-Oldham boss Darren Kelly was axed in late November and his assistant Jim Harvey took charge.
TheYorkshire side are unbeaten in nine games under Northern Irishman Harvey, withWroe clocking up 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals, before briefly returning to Meadow Lane last week following the appointment of new boss Jamie Fullarton.
The ex-Preston man, who joined Notts in June 2014, played the last of his 17 matches for the Magpies last April.
Meanwhile, Halifax’s National League rivals Altrincham have taken right-winger Dylan Mottley-Henry, 18, on loan from Bradford City.
