ELMO’S IN THE FRAME FOR HULL
STEVE Bruce has backed Ahmed Elmohamady to fight his way back into the Hull City team.
The Egyptian international has slipped out of the starting XI recently, following the return to fitness of Robert Snodgrass.
But Bruce, who also managed the 28-year-old midfielder in the Premier League with Sunderland, believes Elmohamady isn’t the kind of player to feel sorry for himself.
“Elmo has been a fantastic player for me for the best part of five or six years, when you include our time at Sunderland,” said the manager.
“I know exactly what he can do, but I believe he has been affected by all the nonsense surrounding his future.”
