CELLINO’S LEEDS CUT LOSSES

LEEDS United have re­ported a sig­nif­i­cant drop in club losses af­ter pub­lish­ing their fi­nan­cial state­ment for 2015.

The fig­ures ac­count for the year end­ing on June 30, 2015 in which the Whites reg­is­tered a loss of just £2m, far lower than their 2014 sum of £22.9m.

Leeds owner Massimo Cellino said: “The club is now on a sta­ble fi­nan­cial foot­ing for the first time in many years.

“We are con­fi­dent that we can con­tinue to make fur­ther im­prove­ments in the years ahead.”
