JIMMY IN PLEA FOR PATIENCE
QUEENS PARK RANGERS were among the pre-season favourites to bounce back to the Premier League, but manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink insists things aren’t always that simple.
Hasselbaink joined the R’s from Burton Albion in December and endured a tricky start to life at Loftus Road.
They began the weekend 13 points adrift of the playoffs, and the 43-year-old Dutchman insists it will take time to rebuild.
“QPR have been relegated and everybody thinks it’s easy just to come back, and it isn’t,” said Hasselbaink.
“A lot of things have happened at the club and it has had a lot of changes.”
