WINTER WOE FOR MAGPIES
JULIAN WINTER has quit as Notts County chief executive just six months after taking up the job.
In his reign, the former Sheffield United CEO oversaw the appointment of Jamie Fullarton as boss in January.
“There have been a lot of changes at the club over recent weeks and I want to stress that my resignation is not in light of these changes,” said Winter.
“I came here with a clear plan of how to take this club forward and it is with regret that I have not been able to complete this important work.”
Last week, Ray Trew resigned as Notts chairman and put the club up for sale.
