The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO -

OXFORD will be left scratching their heads as to how they failed to come out on top in the battle of the promotion hopefuls.

It is easy to see why the U’s are a formidable outfit on the road as they go for broke in search of three points.

Kemar Roofe underlined his quality in front of goal with his 21st of the season and his goals have been crucial. But Craig Tanner’s equaliser denied Oxford what would have been a record-breaking sixth straight away win – and a 12th success on the road in one season.

As for Plymouth they have stuttered in recent weeks and this point will give them huge confidence as they seek to secure promotion back into League One. But injuries are hampering their progress.
