DIGBY SO INSPIRED BY UNITED
IPSWICH loanee Paul Digby admits his taste of Manchester United over the summer has left him wanting more.
The midfielder, on loan from Barnsley, had a trial at the Red Devils over the summer – rubbing shoulders with youngsters now making their mark at Old Trafford.
“I had two weeks with United. That was unbelievable. I will remember the lessons from that for the rest of my life,” said the 21-year-old.
“Eight or so of the players that I worked with there have played for the United first team this season – boys like Guillermo Varela, Marcus Rashford, Donald Love and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.
“It’s inspiring to see the boys there making their debuts in the Premier League.”
