MURPHY’S JUST RIGHT FOR SCOTS
BRIGHTON winger Jamie Murphy has been rewarded for his sparkling performances in the Championship with his first international selection for Scotland.
The 26-year-old, who joined Brighton from Sheffield United, has scored six goals for Albion this season – half of them in his last seven outings.
The winger, who has represented his country at U19 and U21 level, is in a 19-man party with skipper Gordon Greer and ex-Seagull Liam Bridcutt, on loan at Leeds from Sunderland, to face Denmark at Hampden Park on March 29.
Greer is also in a different 19-man squad visiting the Czech Republic five days earlier. He is one of only four players in both squads.
