BENTLEY’S STAYING FOCUSED
JIM BENTLEY insists it’s business as usual at Morecambe, despite the club being up for sale.
Chairman and majority shareholder Peter McGuigan put the club on the market on Tuesday after 16 years at the helm.
There may be major changes on the cards at the Globe Arena, but the Morecambe boss insists he is more focused on what is happening on the pitch.
“I’ve just got to get on with the job in hand and all I’m interested in is finishing the season strongly,” he said.
“It’s about continuing to do what you’ve got to do. I can’t affect what goes on behind the scenes, so why worry about it?”
