RAMAGE ABOARD ORIENT EXPRESS
PETER Ramage is setting his sights on the League Two play-offs after joining Leyton Orient on loan on Thursday.
Defender Ramage, 32, joined Coventry in January from Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters, but only managed four appearances for the Sky Blues.
But Orient manager Kevin Nolan was not deterred and has brought the versatile defender in on an initial 28day loan.
And Ramage is aiming high at Brisbane Road.
“I am delighted to be here and I am looking forward to getting started and hopefully playing some games,” he said.
“I knew the situation when I first went in at Coventry because I was going to fill in for some injuries and I played the first few games there.
“I got a phone call from the manager Tony Mowbray saying Leyton Orient wanted to take me on loan for a month to get some games and I am delighted to have the opportunity to do so.
“Coventry were fighting for a place in the play-offs when I first joined and it is a similar scenario here. Hopefully I can add something to the group, keep us in the play-offs and hopefully push on.”
