MIGUEL SANTOS became the latest player to join Port Vale’s Portuguese revolution this week and says he cannot wait to get started.

Since boss Bruno Ribeiro’s arrival, Vale have signed his countrymen Kiko, Paulo Tavares and Carlos Saleiro.

Goalkeeper Santos, 21, said: “I want to work every day and give everything I can. Now it’s down to the boss whether I play or not.

“I am now used to the city, my team-mates and the club. I am now settled and comfortable here in England.

“I respect Jak [Alnwick. He is a good ‘keeper but it is up to the boss as to who he picks.”
