BRISTOL ROVERS boss Darrell Clarke believes his squad can cope with anything after bringing in a trio of Premier League talents on loan.

The Gas acquired highlyrated 19-year-old midfielder Charlie Colkett and defender Jake Clarke-Salter, 18, from Chelsea on seasonlong loans on Wednesday, following the arrival of 20year-old midfielder Hiram Boateng from Crystal Palace until January.

“I am very pleased with the business we have managed to get done ahead of the deadline and across the summer in general,” Clarke said.

“We have a big squad now and it was imperative that we boosted the number of bodies we have to cater for the possibility of an injury crisis at any time between now and January.

“I’m confident that I now have the options required that will really see us kick on.”
