GREGS IS ON MONEY FOR LIONS

WINGER David Worrall believes Millwall’s ability to convince Lee Gregory his long-term future lies in South London is testament to the club’s ambition.

Striker Gregory, 28, was a leading light in League One last season with 27 goals and has signed a new deal with the Lions until the summer of 2018.

Worrall said: “When I first came here, the manager said he wanted to keep his key players.

“It shows the expectation the club, as well as the fans, want.

“It stops me asking for a new contract if I keep up my good form – because he (Gregory) has taken all the money!”
