MATTHEWS SHAPES UP
BRISTOL City right-back Adam Matthews is getting the fizz back in his performances – by giving up fizzy drinks.
The 24-year-old, on loan from Sunderland, is on the way back from a hamstring injury and played the first half against Fulham in the EFL Cup in midweek.
“We gave him three sessions a day and really went strong on his diet, cutting out the sugary drinks,” Robins boss Lee Johnson told the Bristol Post. “Adam has worked very hard and now looks as though he is in good nick.”
