The Football League Paper - - LEAGUE TWO -

ONE of the companies owned by Notts County’s new owner Alan Hardy was recently named as the best to work for in the UK.

For Kevin Nolan, the latest incumbent in the Magpies hotseat, he will be hoping Meadow Lane proves a happy place in the months and years to come.

The duo’s arrival this week seems to have lifted a cloud at the club which has certainly fallen on hard times.

But in truth it was an impressive beginning to the club’s new era, against a stubborn Steve Evans side.

A first point on the board since late October shows just how poor the Magpies have been recently, but the signs under Nolan and Hardy are promising.

All they need now is that elusive victory – they have not won since October 22 at Portsmouth – to really kick-start the revolution.
