BAKER TO CALL TIME AT ROBINS
CHELTENHAM chairman Paul Baker will walk away with his head held high after two decades in the role.
Baker confirmed he will not be chairman beyond the 2017-18 season and has already spoken to potential candidates.
“I’ve done 20 years and it’s been a massive privilege, but it is also energy-sapping and tiring. It really is now time for some new people to come on board to take the club to the next level,” said Baker.
“We all know watching Cheltenham Town is a rollercoaster and rarely do we have mediocre seasons. It’s nearly always exciting, but also highly stressful.”
