How they laughed at Tony’s £200m error!
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes was due to fly in from Malaysia to watch the home game against Cardiff yesterday – and catch up with former R’s boss Neil Warnock. Warnock led QPR to the Championship title in 2010-11, but was sacked the following January with the club struggling in the Premier League. The 68-year-old also had a short spell as caretaker-boss last term. “We’ve had a chat about what happened after I left the first time,” Cardiff boss Warnock told the London Evening Standard. “He joked it cost him £200m. I remember saying, ‘It serves you right!’”
