HUDDERSFIELD are renowned for their attractive football under David Wagner, but Michael Hefele sas things may get ugly in their promotion push.

The Terriers were third before the weekend after a scrappy 1-0 win over Aston Villa in midweek, but the 26-year-old German defender doesn’t care how the victories come.

“It was a dirty 1-0 but, in the end, it counts for three points,” said Hefele. “The fans were cheering and supporting us as always.

“We were aggressive in every single tackle, determined to get to each ball ahead of Villa players.”
