APPLETON: LET’S ALL BE PROUD
OXFORD’S play-off ambitions may be increasingly unrealistic, but manager Michael Appleton insists everyone at the club needs to remember how far they have come.
Appleton took over in 2014 with the club still in League Two.
“We’re nearly three years into the project, but the reality is we’ve gone from a mid-table League Two side to hopefully a top-half League One side with a couple of cup finals in the mix and producing some quality players,” Appleton said.
“I think it’s important from a perspective point of view that people realise that.”
