O’S FANS’ FUND OFF TO A FLIER
LEYTON Orient fans have made an impressive start to their bid to raise a quarter of a million pounds – with approaching £70,000 already pledged.
The League Two outfit face a winding-up petition in the High Court on March 20 over a reported £250,000 owed to HM Revenue and Customs and supporters fear for the future of the club.
The Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust have set up their fundraising campaign to be prepared for every eventuality.
The trust is holding an open meeting at Walthamstow Assembly Hall tomorrow (7.30pm) to update fans.
