IT’S TIME TO HIT NET, AARON...
JOHN Sheridan has warned striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway he needs to quickly prove he belongs in the division.
The 24-year-old had scored just two goals prior to yesterday’s match with Bury, and his career figures are not much better with only eight in 97 professional appearances.
Sheridan needs all his players fit and firing if they are to pull clear of relegation.
“He needs to score,” Sheridan said. “I look at his tally over his career and it’s not good enough.
“I know what his game is about, but he has to think about what else he needs to do.”
