ACE KANU ATTRACTS ATTENTION
ALDERSHOT Town have turned down an offer from a Championship club for teenage sensation Idris Kanu.
The National League promotion-chasers confirmed they have knocked back two offers from unnamed clubs, one from the Championship.
Kanu spent his youth career with West Ham.
He played for Manchester United on trial in September and signed his first professional contract with the Shots on his 17th birthday in December.
Manchester City and Leicester have also been rumoured to be watching Kanu, who can play up front or on the wing.
The youngster has played 22 times for Gary Waddock’s side this season and scored three goals.
