The Football League Paper - - CHRIS DUNLAVY -

FULHAM were denied a place in the top six by Blackburn’s late leveller in midweek – but the Cottagers remain a great bet to win the play-offs.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side had lost just three of their last 20 games, a record no other side in the Championship could match.

Their goal difference – a reliable barometer of ultimate success – was trumped only by the top two. But the biggest factor? In 37 matches, Fulham had drawn a blank only six times.

Of course, they will have to hold their nerve. But deal with that and, over two legs, they will prove difficult to outscore.
